Allan Levin & Associates was founded in 1986 by the late Allan Levin. More than twenty years since his passing, Allan Levin is still remembered as one of the finest South African legal practitioners of his generation. Robert Levin and Joseph Liebenberg, as partners of the firm, continue to provide focused legal services to its discerning client base.

Robert Levin

Robert is a seasoned lawyer with over 25 years experience. Robert focuses on commercial litigation, dispute resolution, divorce and family law, as well as general commercial legal advice and practical problem-solving.
He has successfully represented a wide range of clients in significant, complex claims and disputes over many years.
Robert strives to achieve rapid success for clients through well-reasoned and assertive litigation, constructive engagement and appropriate negotiation.
Joseph Liebenberg
- BCom LLB - University of the Witwatersrand
- Admission as an attorney of the High Court (2012)
Joseph specialises in commercial dispute resolution, family law and criminal law. He joined the firm in 2010 as a candidate attorney and was appointed as an associate upon his admission as an attorney in 2012. In 2018, Joseph became a partner of the firm.
He has extensive experience in High Court and Magistrates' Court litigation. This includes a wide array of commercial disputes, divorces and related applications for interim relief, disputes regarding parental responsibilities and rights, relocation applications, maintenance disputes, and proceedings in respect of domestic violence and protection orders.
Joseph's criminal practice encompasses a range of matters including addressing criminal complaints on an urgent basis, bail applications, engaging with the National Prosecuting Authority, and the running of criminal proceedings.
